The Vocabulary of Peace™ is a fresh, pro-active, positive (and nonprofit) approach to civic peace values education that can easily be integrated into existing English and Social Studies classes.

Unpacking everyday words like "intelligence" and "respect" — and using their derivations to bring them to life — is a great way to counteract bullying and hazing behavior and attitudes — on or off line; in or out of school — and building a sense of self-interest in observing good will principles in daily life.

An overview of the approach can be found at www.STARALLIANCE.org, on the Schools page.

What to do? Justice Kennedy of the United States Supreme Court has said: "Education is a very conscious act." We can no longer afford to leave inculcation of good values to the home, church, and family; because too many homes are broken, and church efforts are not enough to fill the gap, or come with their own divisive baggage. Society must incorporate instruction in Civic Values for Sustainable Peace and Love into universal public and private, K-12 and adult education. For a good start at outlining these ideals in a civic way, try searching on the civic values term above or go straight to www.staralliance.org.

After upon a time, students wrote essays at university. Now they are able to employ unemployed professors to perform that for them - or no less than that is what one particular Montreal-based on the net service is offering. Unemployed Professors connects essay-dreading students with teachers prepared to write papers for a fee. The tag line says it all: "So you are able to play even though we make your papers go away." The web page "unabashedly defends its actions on the grounds that education has already turn out to be overly commodified and academia is downsizing the tenure program," Karen Seidman wrote for Postmedia News. Student-run essay mills are not new, Schubert Laforest, president from the Concordia Student Union, told the National Post, but "it's the first I've heard of professors undertaking students' function." "It just seems to hinder the academic procedure. The focus must be on acquiring abilities, not wanting to get an easy A. But I am positive some students will take advantage of it." Plagiarism computer software is what drives some students to buy custom-written essays. Unemployed Professors https://www.unemployedprofessors.xyz/ explains: "The whole cause why you happen to be working with this services is so that your lazy ass does not itself have to plagiarize. Long answer? We source and cite everything we write on the basis of our long encounter of non-plagiarizing. Brief answer? No, you're not going to have caught unless you do a thing stupid like inform everyone that you bought an essay."
